Ronald Meaux is a great artist whose work was nearly lost. Mr. Meaux, a native of Cleveland, an excellent draughtsman who also produced exceptional works of abstract expressionism. His artistic productions were only discovered after his death. No family was able to provide any information about him or even claim his body.
He did have a friend that provided some information, but much of that information is speculative. It has been suggested that he was a teacher (art?), gay, hoarder, and drinker. Nothing is really known about the driving forces of his art. The quality of his work has to speak for itself.
